Immunochemistry Technologies (ICT) joins our family of companies.

We are excited to announce that Immunochemistry Technologies (ICT) has joined our growing family of companies, which also includes Antibodies Incorporated, PhosphoSolutions and AvesLabs.

ICT was founded in 1994 as a contract lab providing custom immunoassay services and a proprietary line of ELISA reagents. Shortly thereafter, ICT expanded its product line to include a variety of fluorescent probes useful in determining cell viability and investigating mechanisms of cell death. Today, ICT is well-known in the biotech industry, and its products are used worldwide by researchers to probe mechanisms of cell death, perform immunoassays, and advance scientific understanding.

ICT Reagents to probe mechanisms of cell death

ImmunoChemistry Technologies’ cell viability assays include a large range of fluorescent whole cell assays for intracellular apoptosis detection and cellular analysis. ICT’s cell viability assays are compatible with various fluorescence analysis methods including flow cytometry, fluorescence microscopy, and fluorescence plate reader. ICT’s line of assay kits can detect apoptosis, necrosis, pyroptosis, autophagy, intracellular caspase and cathepsin activity, cell-mediated cytotoxicity, activated serine proteases, and much more! These kits are designed for use in whole living cells – no lysing of the cells is required. Many of ICT’s kits can be multiplexed with other markers, such as labeled antibodies for immunostaining of surface or intracellular targets.

See how other neuroscientists have been using ICT’s cell viability reagents here and check out some popular ICT products below:

FLICA and FLIVO Caspase reagents
bind cleaved caspase enzymes in vitro and in vivo to reveal sites of intracellular caspase activation.

Magic Red Cathepsin Assays monitor intracellular cathepsin activity over time in live cells using these cell-permeable dyes, compatible with formaldehyde-based fixation techniques.

ICT’s Autophagy Assay, Red detects and monitors the in vitro development of autophagy in living cells.

ICT’s Necrosis vs Apoptosis Assay kit simultaneously detects both apoptosis and necrosis in living cells.

ELISA assays: building a more sensitive and specific assay

ICT provides all the ELISA components that you need to build a better assay. ICT’s coating buffers, blockers, sample and assay diluents, conjugate stabilizers, and wash buffer all work together to minimize unwanted proteins and generate a very clean signal. ICT’s substrates and stop solutions enhance the sensitivity of your assay, while offering low background and prolonged shelf-life stability. These products address common issues during ELISA development, such as specificity, sensitivity, reproducibility, and shelf-life. ICT’s ELISA Development kits include specially formulated buffers and assay components together with a detailed guide for development of your own novel antibody-sandwich or antigen-down ELISA. ICT’s goal is to help you develop optimized ELISAs that have a high specific signal and low background noise. If you need assistance in your assay development, or are looking for assay development services, please see ICT’s available lab services.

We’re excited to expand the variety of life sciences products and services we offer you and look forward to helping you with your next breakthrough!
